SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS FOR REVIEWING THE COMPLAINT
IN THE NEW YORK “IN GOD WE TRUST” CHALLENGE
(TO BE FILED ON SEPTEMBER 25?, 2012)
This is the original COMPLAINT that will be starting the New York federal case challenging “In God We Trust” on the money. It must be complete enough to demonstrate that each plaintiff has standing. It also must lay out the reasons why we think we should prevail.
Please be aware that I will be making changes to the COMPLAINT as I receive comments, so please do your download just before you start reading. Otherwise, you will be wasting your time (and mine), as you find, comment upon and send notes to me about errors that were already corrected. Moreover, there is always the chance that I will have screwed things up with the last correction, so having you review the latest version is really critical to making sure nothing is overlooked.
The COMPLAINT is now posted in its entirety. If you have already reviewed some of it when it was previously broken down into sections, you may want to just do the portions you have not yet reviewed. However, it will be great if you go over the whole thing. I think a thorough review will take no more than two hours, which I realize is a lot of time. So thanks in advance for your work on this. (On the other hand, I likely have well over 600 hours into this document, so – on the scale of things – I’m hoping you won’t see this as too burdensome.)
Again, I think the best way for you to review the brief is to have a file or email page open while you read, and then simply mark down your corrections, comments, etc., as you see them. If you can, please note the page number and give a description of the sentence you’re referencing, so that I know exactly where to look. (Even if you download the latest version, there still may have been significant changes to the document before you send me your findings.)
Please use the following email address: NewdowIGWT@gmail.com to send me your comments.
Thanks, again!
– Mike
